Interviewer: From Italy to the world, Antonellaofficial is an independent artist who just released a heartwarming 32-track album titled Perfect Match, a tribute to BTS’s Jimin and the group that changed her life.

Interviewer: We can’t wait to find out everything! Let’s start from the beginning: Perfect Match is a huge project, 32 songs all dedicated to Jimin, with also songs that celebrate the other members of BTS. How did the idea of creating such an ambitious album come about?
Antonella: I’m really excited to talk about my album.
It all started from my love for Jimin. He’s my light, my guide, and he’s truly changed my life. I felt like I had to express this feeling, and music was the most natural way to do it. I started writing lyrics that told my love story for him, and soon I realized that there was so much to express: every emotion, every thought I don't even know if it's all ,If there's something else to express still. Perfect Match is like a diary of my heart for Jimin and BTS.
Interviewer: How beautiful! The title Perfect Match is also the name of the opening track. Can you tell us more about this song and why you chose this title for the entire album?
Antonella: Perfect Match is the song that opens the album because it represents the moment when I realized that Jimin is the perfect person I’ve always been looking for. It has a cheerful, danceable rhythm, with K-pop vibes that make you want to move and smile. The lyrics talk about this special connection, as if he were the missing piece of my life. I chose this title for the album because every song, ultimately, talks about this: Jimin is my “perfect match,” and my love for him is the thread that ties the whole project together.
Interviewer: It’s so romantic! What about the track "Busan Boy" Jimin and Jungkook come from that city, does this mean?
Antonella: "Busan Boy" hm yes, Jimin comes from there, it talks about where my love began, from me and him who come from different places and that
even if the distance makes it difficult, it doesn't matter , love can cross everything right?
Interviewer: And then there’s Insane Love, a song that seems super intense. What can you tell us about this track?
Antonella: Insane Love is pure fire! It’s a song that explodes with passion, with a rhythm that captures you and lyrics that talk about how overwhelming, almost “crazy” my love for Jimin is. It’s like I want to shout to the world how much he makes me feel alive. I think it’s one of the tracks that shows the boldest side of my feelings, and I hope ARMYs feel it as an explosion of energy and love.
Interviewer: Wow! Listening to your album, a few artists came to mind that seem to resonate with your style. The upbeat and danceable tracks like Perfect Match and Insane Love recall the energy of K-pop groups like BTS themselves, and BLACKPINK for their catchy and bold beats intense lyrics. Jimin My Light and Fan Love and Work of Art, on the other hand, have an emotional vibe that makes you think of ballads like those of IU or Taeyeon, with that ability to touch the heart. And Seven Kings has an epic vibe that recalls the powerful anthems of groups like ATEEZ, but also the vibrant pop of American artists like Ariana Grande for their catchy sweetness or Dua Lipa for their bold dance beats. But also Taylor Swift, Adele or Demi Lovato and also American bands like Imagine Dragons for their ability to tell universal love stories with vulnerability and strength. Do you identify with these influences? And which artists inspired you while creating the album?
Antonella: Wow, what amazing comparisons! BTS are my biggest inspiration, especially Jimin's songs like Filter or Serendipity, which mix emotion and rhythm so perfectly. I also love the energy of the amazing BLACKPINK, so knowing that Perfect Match and Insane Love are reminiscent of their style makes me so happy! For ballads like Jimin My Light, I would say IU is an inspiration, with her ability to convey deep feelings. I hadn't thought of ATEEZ for Seven Kings, but now that you mention it, that powerful and majestic vibe is perfect! But I also love Demi Lovato, and now that you mention it, her way of putting her heart into the lyrics, like in Skyscraper or Heart Attack, might have influenced my way of writing. Taylor Swift and Adele are perfect for the emotional side, and for Imagine Dragons I think you see it that way, because I wanted a powerful anthem like BTS's. I didn’t think directly of American artists when I was writing, but maybe the influence of American pop and R&B came through BTS, with songs like Dynamite or Butter. It’s nice to know that my album can speak to fans of so many genres! I tried to put in my album everything that Jimin and BTS make me feel: joy, passion, love, and even a little bit of dream.
Interviewer: It’s incredible how you captured so many emotions! Another song that is gaining attention is Jimin, a simple but direct title. What makes this track special?
Antonella: Jimin is a declaration of pure and simple love. It is an energetic song, with a K-pop beat that makes you want to sing his name at the top of your lungs. The title is direct because I wanted it to be clear: this is for him, without beating around the bush. In the lyrics I talk about how every smile of his, every dance of his, makes me fall in love even more. I noticed that the fans are very enthusiastic about this and Jimin My Light, maybe because Jimin's name in the title immediately catches their attention!
Interviewer: It's true, titles with Jimin's name seem to immediately capture attention! What is the track "From Tears To Sunshine" about instead?
Antonella: "From Tears To Sunshine" is very personal for me and Jimin himself, it talks about a story he told about when he was in school he liked a girl, and one day he declared his love to her, but she rejected him, according to her he was "fat" he was made fun of at school, maybe that girl is now looking at him with eyes full of remorse, with that song I wanted to remind him that he is perfect just the way he is.
Unfortunately there are people who still look at him and say these things even comments in live broadcasts, they don't understand how much words hurt. But he is perfect as he is and always been.
Interviewer: As for "Be MINE" and "Your MUSE" are they titles with references to Jimin's MUSE album?
Antonella: Yes, they are mutual things
Interviewer: Which of your songs are closest to the vibe of FACE and MUSE?
Antonella: For FACE, I think the songs that really capture that intimate, vulnerable, and deep love feeling are:
"Our Song" — it’s about a secret love, deep dreams, and longings. The romantic and intimate tone in it really mirrors the atmosphere of FACE.
"Worried for You" — this one expresses care, concern, and genuine affection, similar to the themes of self-worth and support in FACE.
"Searching For You" — it’s about the desire to find someone and hope, with a vulnerability that’s very close to FACE's themes of self-knowledge and authentic connection.
"Start Dreaming" — it contains deep dreams and longings, with a sensitivity that aligns with the intimacy of FACE.
Interviewer: And what about MUSE? Which songs reflect that energetic, admiration-filled vibe?
Antonella: For MUSE, the tracks that feel most energetic and full of admiration are:
"Work of Art" — it’s about praise, fascination, and admiration towards someone, with a tone of celebration that’s very much in the spirit of MUSE.
"Jimin My Light" — an anthem of support and finding strength, with inspiration and affection that match the mood of MUSE.
"Forever with You" — a song about dedication and unconditional love, romantic and passionate, fitting the energetic and passionate vibe of MUSE.
Interviewer: So, if someone loves the intimate and emotional side of your music, which tracks would you recommend?
Antonella: I’d suggest listening to "Our Song," "Worried for You," and "Searching For You." They really dive into that emotional, vulnerable space.
Interviewer: And for those who enjoy the more energetic and admiration-driven style?
Antonella: Then definitely check out "Work of Art," "Jimin My Light," and "Forever with You." They embody that vibrant, inspiring energy I love to bring out in my music.

Can you tell me more about "Can't Get You Off My Mind"? I really like the rhythm
Antonella: thanks "Can't Get You Off My Mind" is that typical situation where you have someone imprinted in your head that can't get out you can't think about anything else even if you don't want to, where even the little things make you think of that person you know sometimes I get flashbacks about things Jimin does or says, I don't know how to explain it, maybe because I miss him so much and he always comes to my mind
Interviewer: We heard that one of the most loved songs by fans so far is Jimin My Light. This track seems particularly personal. What does it mean to you?
Antonella: Jimin My Light is perhaps the most important song for me. It talks about how Jimin saved my life, becoming my reason and my guide. It is an intense ballad, but with moments that make you feel hope and light. In the lyrics I say that he is my light in the midst of darkness, and I think a lot of ARMYs can relate to that, because Jimin has this power to inspire and heal. Writing it was like opening my heart and hoping that one day he can hear it.
Interviewer: I am sure ARMYs can relate to it a lot! Another track you mentioned is Fan Love, a standalone single that is not on the album but that also talks about your love for Jimin. Can you tell us about it?
Antonella: Fan Love is a cheerful and dreamy song that talks about the unconditional love between a fan and their idol. One of the lines I love is "But I'm just a fan, you're miles away from me I'm just a dreamer, wishing you could see I'll keep singing your name, deep in my heart though we'll never be, I'll love you from afar ". It's my way of telling Jimin that even though I'm just one fan among millions, my love for him is real and deep. I didn't include it in the album because I wanted it to be something special, an extra gift for ARMYs who understand this feeling.
There’s also another standalone single called "Love Yourself" it came always from BTS message as "Love Myself", I did think it was important message to share too and to remember ourselves what they said to us.
Interviewer: The album is already available on all streaming platforms, right? But so far you said you haven’t received specific feedback, I hope it will come for you. How do you feel knowing that ARMYs are starting to discover your work?
Antonella: I’m so happy that Jimin My Light and Jimin are getting love, but at the same time I hope that ARMYs will discover the other songs too. Each track tells a piece of my story, and I would like them to identify with the lyrics to understand how I feel. Sometimes I worry that some fans might be jealous or not interested, but I think that the love for Jimin is something that unites us all. I hope that by listening to the album, they will feel my sincerity.
Interviewer: Your love for Jimin is so obvious, I'm sure ARMY will appreciate it! You said that you dream of Jimin listening to your album. How do you imagine his reaction?
Antonella: Oh, I often think about it! I imagine Jimin with his sweet smile, maybe a little emotional, while listening to Jimin My Light and understanding how much it meant to me. I hope he feels loved and appreciated, because that's what I want to convey to him. Maybe he would say something nice on Weverse or in a live, like "Thank you, ARMY, for this love!". It would be a dream come true!
Interviewer: It would be magical! Do you have any plans to promote the album and reach more ARMY, or maybe get your work out to Jimin?
Antonella: I have shared many things about the album like video editing with the song like "Jimin" and "Fan Love". I also want to create some choreography one day, but I don't know how yet. I hope ARMY will share the album and who knows, it might reach Jimin!
Interviewer: That's a great plan! Last question: if you could choose one song from the album for Jimin to listen to as "the song that tells everything about you", which one would it be and why?
Antonella: It's hard to choose, but I would say Jimin My Light. It's the most personal song, the one that says it all: Jimin is my light, my reason, my salvation. I hope that by listening to it he will understand how special he is to me and to so many ARMY.
I wish he could hear my thanks through every note.
Interviewer: What beautiful words, Antonella! But in the album there are also two songs dedicated to the other members of BTS, Seven Kings, Purple Light and Kpop Stan. Can you tell us about these?
Antonella: Of course! Seven Kings is an epic anthem to all seven members of BTS. It has a majestic atmosphere, with a powerful beat that celebrates their greatness as a group. A line that I love is "We'll shine together, hand in hand BTS, our shining band", because it represents the unity between them and with us ARMY. It’s my way of saying thank you to RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jungkook and, of course, Jimin, for everything that I am.
Kpop Stan, on the other hand, is more cheerful and talks about the special relationship between ARMY and BTS. It’s like a musical hug for the fandom, a way of saying: “We are together in this crazy love for them!”. Both songs are a little different from the others, because they look at the group as a whole, but Jimin is always the center of my heart.
Interviewer: What a wonderful tribute! Tell me something about the track "Purple Light"
Antonella: "Purple Light" is an ode to BTS who saved me every time I'm sad or having bad moments, they remind me who I am "우리의 영웅이 되어주시고 우리의 큰 세상에 변화를 만들어주셔서 감사합니다. 있으며, 아미들은 여러분을 지지합니다." means "Thank you for being our heroes and making a difference in our big world. Because of you, I am a better person and I am here to stay, and ARMYs supports you."
Interviewer: Do you want to talk to me about the track "Fake Smile"?
Antonella: "Fake Smile" is about a fake smile, like many times celebrities have to pretend to be fine, they do it willingly to avoid worrying their fans , Jimin has been through a lot, he was sick, he was in pain but we have always seen him with a smile, like when he had abdominal pain and was rushed to the hospital, he never complained.
This song is about this, many people judge but they don't know what a celebrity goes through, they don't put themselves in their shoes, there are people they trusted but they turned out to be enemies, many took advantage of his good heart.
interviewer: The track "October 13" instead? Is it about an important date for you as well as the release of your album and Jimin's birthday or did you do it on purpose?
Antonella: "October 13" yes indeed it is an important day and I wanted to remember it with this special song, where I not only thank his parents but also celebrate his birthday, and I also wanted to remember someone special for him on that occasion, I wanted to talk about Ddosun Park, Jimin was very attached to his dog, a pitbull/jindo mix, I wanted to thank/pay homage to him too because he was next to Jimin in good times and bad and I believe that his soul is still always with him. Since his death Jimin did not want any more dogs because the pain was too strong for him.
interviewer: There is the last track called "No One Understand" what is it about?
Antonella: "No One Understand" talks about this bond that not everyone can understand, you know some people don't know, maybe they never had idols or something like that, they don't understand our mutual feeling with our idols, sometimes our idols are the people who understand us better than someone else who knows us
Interviewer: You are visible in Korea, how do you feel?
Antonella: I love everything about Korea, especially the culture, the kindness of the people, oh they are so nice, and I'm happy if people around the world likes my music, anyone even just a person that enjoy it , I would appreciate it
Interviewer: Thank you for sharing your story and your heart with us. Thank you for leaving us a piece of you as Perfect Match, we support your musical journey. A final message for ARMYs and, maybe, for Jimin?
Antonella: To ARMY I want to say: thank you for loving Jimin and BTS like I do. I hope my album makes you smile and reminds you how special they are. And to Jimin… you are my light, my perfect match. This album is for you, from the bottom of my heart and I hope that one day you will be able to listen to it.
Interviewer: How emotional! Thank you, Antonella, and good luck with your album! ARMYs, run to listen to Perfect Match on all platforms
